La Misión del BIC

The National Business Information Clearinghouse (BIC) es una organización no lucrativa que apoya al arranque y crecimiento de negocios pequeños y poseídos por minorías. Sus dos programas, el Business Information Clearinghouse (BIC)  y el Entrepreneurial Development Center (EDC), permiten el acceso a la información oportuna sobre negocios, capacitación en línea y a las mejores prácticas dando como resultado una comunidad de negocios más vibrante.

Sobre el BIC

El BIC es un sitio Web único que proporciona información crítica de negocios, Dinero, Mercados y Administración para estimular al desarrollo económico regional. El BIC se centra específicamente en regiones WIRED (innovación de la mano de obra en el desarrollo económico regional) señaladas por el Departamento de Labor de los Estados Unidos (DOL)  incluyendo Florida’s Great Northwest (Pensacola, FL), Finger Lakes (Rochester, New York) y Piedmont Triad (Greensboro and Winston-Salem, NC).

Las características especiales del BIC incluyen:

  • Los artículos mas importantes para los dueños de la pequeña empresa: Dinero, Mercados y Administración
  • Contenido sobre negocios, pre-seleccionado y categorizado
  • Búsqueda dinámica de los mas selectos recursos para negocios através de una maquina de búsqueda hecha específicamente para este uso

  • Contenido traducido al Ingles y al Español

El desarrollo del BIC fue financiado por una concesión $3.3 millones del Departamento del Labor de los Estados Unidos. También ha sido financiado con $50 millones de la iniciativa de cinco años de Western Union, Nuestro Mundo, Nuestra Familia, para energizar a las comunidades alrededor del mundo.

El BIC ha sido modificado para cumplir con requisitos particulares para alcanzar a la comunidad Hispana a través del National Hispanic Business Information Clearinghouse (www.nhbic.org) y se está adaptando actualmente para abarcar una variedad de comunidades pequeñas y de minorías de alrededor del mundo.
